Commitment
Ibrox Lodge meets every fourth Friday of the month, except in July & August. We often meet for social events, practices and emergent meetings on the 2nd Friday.
Do you have time to attend these meetings, to prepare Degree work in your spare time, to take on committee work and to attend social functions as they arise?
Family First
Are your family and loved ones supportive of you joining the fraternity?
Finances
Membership in Ibrox Lodge requires an initiation fee (or affiliation fee, if you are already a mason) and annual dues.
Can you commit to paying these without creating an undue burden on yourself or your family ?
Motivation
Why do you want to join? Masonry is a world-wide fraternity devoted to making good men better. Through it, you will likely meet people from all types of careers, cultures and creeds. You may develop your character, leadership and public speaking skills, but membership will not advance your career or political aspirations.
